Dana White admits losing $10K at Adin Ross’ MMA event
Dana White disclosed that he lost a $10,000 wager on influencer Bob Menery at the Brand Risk 14 fight event. White had bet that Menery would not appear at all, but Menery showed up and was knocked out in the first round by former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel. White later admitted he had genuinely believed Menery would no-show until watching him enter the ring. "I absolutely positively did not think he would show up, and he did," White told Fred Talks Fighting. Despite the financial loss, White expressed respect for Menery's commitment to competing. The incident reflects the crossover appeal of celebrity and influencer combat sports and White's willingness to wager on unconventional fight outcomes.
