DWCS Season 10, Week 4 results: 5 UFC contracts handed out after night of finishes
The Ultimate Fighting Championship's Contender Series delivered a night of spectacular finishes at Week 4 of Season 10. On Tuesday at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, five bouts took place, with four ending in stoppages and one decided by the judges. Dana White was sufficiently impressed with the performances to award UFC contracts to all five winners.

In the main event, Adam Darby controlled the fight from the opening bell against Patrick Rivera, landing sustained low kicks and sharp punches over three rounds. Competing as a heavy 4-to-1 betting favorite, Darby's striking volume and precision left Rivera's face badly damaged by the third round. Referee Kerry Hatley called in the doctor midway through the final round to examine Rivera's eye, ultimately ending the contest and securing Darby's contract.
Modestino Rodrigues produced the evening's most eye-catching performance, a former K-1 kickboxer from Brazil who stopped Brandon Holmes in just 15 seconds. After landing an initial low kick, Rodrigues unleashed a flurry of punches that forced the referee to intervene, showcasing the 22-year-old's dangerous striking arsenal.
Silvestre Sanchez earned praise as a prospect out of Mexico by grinding through a disciplined performance against Liam McCracken at lightweight. Though McCracken's speed and jab created early problems, Sanchez controlled the fight with power shots and takedowns, bloodying his opponent before finishing with a decisive left hook in the third round.
Gabriel Lorenco's knockout of Charlie Cleveland came with some controversy, as a questionable elbow—potentially striking the back of the head—helped send Cleveland down for the final time after an initial knockdown from a hook. Adam Livingston earned his second shot at the Contender Series after losing on Season 9, this time securing a split decision over Hunter Smith in a back-and-forth striking battle showcasing his length and spinning attacks against Smith's relentless pressure.
