Dana White has expressed strong confidence in Bella Mir's potential to capture world titles across multiple combat sports, including the Olympics, UFC, Zuffa Boxing, and UFC jiu-jitsu competition.

Mir, the daughter of UFC heavyweight legend Frank Mir, is competing on this season of Dana White's Contender Series, facing Alex Apodaca on August 25 in hopes of securing a UFC contract. The 23-year-old already maintains a relationship with the promotion, having signed on as the UFC's first NIL (name, image, likeness) ambassador in 2023 during her freshman year as a wrestler at the University of Iowa. Her professional MMA record stands at 4–0 across sporadic bouts since 2022.

White, who says he has been heavily involved in Mir's career development over the past four years, outlined the ambitious blueprint she has presented to him. "The Olympics. The UFC championship. Zuffa Boxing. And UFC BJJ," White told media after Tuesday's DWCS broadcast in Las Vegas. "She wants a title in all of those organizations."

Mir's credentials already include an NCAA Division I wrestling championship at 145 pounds, which she won in March by upsetting Reese Larramendy in the finals. White credited her with an unusual work ethic: during her college wrestling career, she would compete in jiu-jitsu tournaments during school breaks—and win them—despite not training jiu-jitsu full-time. White also revealed he personally encouraged her to attend college rather than turn pro immediately after high school, prioritizing education alongside athletic development.

While a victory on August 25 does not guarantee a UFC deal, and any contract might be developmental given her age and limited MMA experience, White views Mir's laser focus and multi-sport pedigree as near guarantees of future success. She follows a storied family path: her father Frank captured a UFC heavyweight title at 25 before a motorcycle accident forced him to vacate the belt, though he remained a world-title contender for a decade.
