UFC Belgrade bonuses: Uros Medic, 3 more take home $100K bonus
UFC Belgrade delivered a historic card headlined by knockout finishes, awarding four $100,000 performance bonuses as the rapid conclusion rate made a fight of the night award unnecessary.
Main event winner Uros Medic earned his bonus with a 30-second knockout of Daniel Rodriguez, showcasing the striking prowess that has made him a rising welterweight contender at 14-3. The 33-year-old "Doctor" extended his streak to four consecutive first-round finishes, a career marked by the fact that none of his fights have ever reached the judges.
Co-main event bonus recipient Navajo Stirling, now undefeated at 11-0, demolished former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz in under three minutes. The City Kickboxing fighter has earned notable wins over Ion Cutelaba, Bruno Lopes, and Rodolfo Bellato, positioning himself for larger fights ahead.
The two remaining bonuses went to Nina Nikolija Milosevic and Gilbert Urbina. Milosevic (9-1) retired Hailey Cowan with body punches in front of her home crowd, while Urbina (8-4) finished Vlastislav Cepo in just 61 seconds with a relentless barrage of elbows and punches. Every other finish on the card also received $25,000, reflecting the card's exceptional finishing rate across twelve straight victories by submission or knockout.
