'Cowboy' Cerrone won significant amount betting on Sean Strickland at UFC 328
UFC Hall of Famer Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone cashed in on Sean Strickland's historic upset victory at UFC 328 in Newark, New Jersey earlier this month. Strickland faced overwhelming odds as a +450 underdog against middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev, but pulled off one of the biggest title-fight upsets in recent UFC history. Though Chimaev controlled the opening round on the ground, Strickland seized control in the second and dominated the third, ultimately securing a split decision victory. Cerrone was among the few who backed Strickland and reportedly won a significant amount from the bet.
