Daniel Marcos joins PFL 3 days after UFC departure

Daniel Marcos wasted little time finding his next home. Just three days after parting ways with the UFC, the 33-year-old Peruvian bantamweight announced he has signed with the Professional Fighters League.
Marcos, who goes by the nickname "Soncora," compiled an impressive 5-1-1 record across seven UFC appearances after earning his spot on Dana White's Contender Series in 2022 by defeating Brandon Lewis. His lone setback came against Montel Jackson in 2025, while a no-contest against Aoriqileng rounded out a run that ended on a high note—a second-round submission of Miles Johns. Overall, Marcos carries a professional record of 18-1 with one no-contest into his PFL tenure.
The promotion has yet to announce Marcos' debut opponent or timeline, but his swift signing underscores the value teams see in a fighter carrying his winning pedigree and experience.
