PFL champ Nurmagomedov to defend title in July
Undefeated PFL lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov will defend his title on July 31 at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, facing another undefeated fighter in Archie Colgan. Nurmagomedov, who stands 21-0 with one no-contest, last successfully defended his championship in February with a technical submission win over Alfie Davis. Colgan arrives with a perfect 13-0 record, coming off a unanimous decision victory over Jay-Jay Wilson in October. The co-main event features undefeated women's flyweight Dakota Ditcheva, ranked No. 8 in ESPN's pound-for-pound rankings, returning from injury to face Denise Kielholtz, who enters with a 9-5 record. Ditcheva's last outing came in July with a unanimous decision win, making her return significant after an extended layoff from competition.
