DWCS Results: Mir vs. Apodaca

Dana White's Contender Series Season 10, Week 3 took place Tuesday night at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, with Alex Apodaca pulling off one of the biggest upsets in the show's history by defeating heavily favored Bella Mir.
Mir, daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, made her Contender Series debut as a highly decorated amateur wrestler. She was the first college athlete to secure an NIL sponsorship from the UFC and won the NCAA national wrestling championship this year at 145 pounds. Her striking has also been sharp, with three of her four pro wins coming by submission. Apodaca arrived on a three-fight winning streak and delivered a complete upset, earning her shot in the UFC alongside four other victors from the night.
