UFC 329 poster released featuring return of Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway

The UFC has officially announced Conor McGregor's return to the octagon, with the Irish superstar set to face Max Holloway in a welterweight headliner at UFC 329 on July 11 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. An official poster for the event was released Friday, marking only the second time in five years that McGregor has appeared on a UFC fight card poster.
McGregor has been largely sidelined since breaking his leg in a trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. Though he was scheduled to make his comeback against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in June 2024, an injury forced him out of that contest. The matchup with Holloway will mark his first fight in nearly three years.
Holloway, meanwhile, is looking to rebound after a disappointing performance at UFC 326, where he was dominated on the ground by Charles Oliveira and lost the "BMF" title via decision. The two fighters last met 13 years ago, with McGregor earning a decision victory in their first encounter. Holloway will be seeking redemption in their rematch, which caps off International Fight Week.
The UFC 329 card is stacked with notable matchups across multiple weight classes. The full lineup includes Benoit Saint Denis vs. Paddy Pimblett, Cory Sandhagen vs. Mario Bautista, Brandon Royval vs. Lone'er Kavanagh, Gable Steveson vs. Elisha Ellison, Robert Whittaker vs. Nikita Krylov, Cody Garbrandt vs. Adrian Yanez, Tracy Cortez vs. , vs. , vs. , vs. Zachary Reese, vs. , and vs. . The final bout order is still to be determined.
